2-Benzotriazolyl-4-tert-octylphenol is a derivative of Bisoctrizole, a compound used to absorb ultraviolet light, often added to sunscreen formulations. It has a wide range of uv absorption characteristics, low volatility, suitable for polystyrene, polymethyl ester methyl acrylate, polyester, rigid polyvinyl chloride, polycarbonate,ABS resin. It is especially effective in transparent products and engineering plastics processed at high temperature. It has good synergistic effect with antioxidant and can improve the weatherability and thermal stability of the product.
